QING DYNASTY MANDARIN HAT BUTTONS
I recently found a 16 piece set of Qing Dynasty Mandarin Hat Buttons from the 19th Century at a thrift store in Santa Monica.
The timing of it was very bizarre because I had just gotten back from my 2 week trip in China.
I didn’t know what they were at the time of purchase but I knew had to buy them because they were so unique and intriguing.
Thinking they were some sort of Chinese antique drawer pulls, I beginning googling for similar images but couldn’t find anything like them.
I needed to call in the expert, antique guru Richard.
And within a click of a text photo – I got my answer
They are Qing Dynasty Mandarin Hat Buttons!
What a find and right after my trip to China.
It was like they were waiting for me to get back to find them 🙂
